How I Spent My Pop-Up Shop Earnings

Remember that Pop-Up Shop we had a few weeks ago!? Well we made some pretty good profit off of our *well-loved* clothes! So I decided to spend it on some new staple pieces for my closet, and a couple things that I have had my eye on for a long time! Read below to see what I bought!

Barefoot Dreams Into The Wild Throw Blanket // So this blanket was on my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale wishlist and sold out far before I ever got to shop the sale. I got on Barefoot Dreams site directly and if you sign up for their emails you get 15% off your first purchase with them! Which brought this blanket down to a better price! All I can say is, IT IS SO WORTH IT. This blanket is stretchy and light yet heavy. It is the ultimate snuggle on the couch blanket and I will never use another.

White Marble Cheese Slicer // Did anybody else’s grandmother have a cheese slicer like this!? Mine did! Hers was a little different, it was more of a handheld but SAME THING. One of my friends got this as a present at a wedding shower and I went home and purchased it that same day. It brought back so many memories and I am totally going to need this for all the cheese I’m going to be slicing for my #homegating parties this Fall!

Sam Edelman Bay 2 Embellished Slide Sandal // This is an item that has been on my list for a while now. I was originally planning to get the a lighter color but my every day black Jack Rogers were getting a little worn so I decided to switch it up and go with these! I think Andrew thinks they are a little over the top but I think they are absolutely perfect to wear with a plain black tee and some jeans. They totally dress up any outfit! And did I mention how comfy they are!? By far the most comfortable of any designer sandal I have ever worn.

Tory Burch Miller Flip Flops // These were most definitely a shoe I’ve had my eye on for a while, but at this price tag, it was definitely something to study for a long time. Now I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Remember the Kate Spade Surprise Sale I shared with you a while back? Well who knew Tory Burch does it too!? They call it “The Private Sale” and it is right there on their site in plain sight! They have items up to 70% off. I have these linked here from Nordstrom but I got them for a STEAL on the Tory Burch site during the Private Sale.

Orange Speckled Dress // Bring on the #homegating! I mean, of course, it could work for real life tailgating too if we ever get to do that. I bought this dress specifically for Clemson games. Online, the color is listed as red, but the pictures looked like more of a burnt orange to me. Plus I read the reviews and everyone said it was orange! It is SO COMFY and will be perfect for preparing tailgate food in the kitchen!

Waffle Knit Top // Raise your hand if you are forcing Fall on your family too… I am baking pumpkin bread, putting out our Fall decor, and buying Fall clothes like it’s 50 degrees outside. This top is the perfect easy top for Fall. Longer in the back so it goes with jeans or leggings, and so roomy and comfortable!

Swim Cover-Up // I was delightfully surprised by this one! When it arrived, the material didn’t feel very high quality to me and it honestly looked a little see-through. However, I was impressed with the LOOK and FEEL! It is so comfy yet adds an element of *fancy* to lake day. I would feel totally confident throwing this on over my swimsuit and walking into a restaurant to have lunch.

Doesn’t it feel great to do a closet clean-out? Especially when you can get some new pieces that you KNOW you will wear a lot with the money you made! I was also so happy that all my purchases from Amazon worked this time around! That almost never happens.

Also be sure to check-out our Instagram stories today to see what the clothes look like on me!
